WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN VALUES, MORALS AND ETHICS? - Maddali swetha

{WOMEN ENLIGHTENMENT}

Today let me start by stating that even among those who believe they know the answer to this question but I am too controversy (వివాదం) that knowing which is the most important for human lives or human aspect to lead the life in this busy world. There are two worlds: the world we can measure with line and rule, and the world that we feel with our hearts and imagination.
{MORAL = నైతిక, VALUE = విలువ, ETHICS = నైతిక}

In brief,

INTRODUCTION:

Morals and values are a part of the behavioral aspect of a person. Where values, morals and ethics all provide behavioral rules but three seems to be alike. Morals have more social value and acceptance than values, therefore a person is judged more for his moral character than the values. One is said to be immoral for a person without morals but no such term is there for the person without values. But they can be set by ones elders or religious teachers or leaders of society who want to lead people away from immoral thoughts. One always treasures the morals throughout his/her life and they never change with time or conditions. While on the other hand values are not set by the society or teachers, but are governed by an individual. Values do not mean that it is always right to do so.

MORAL:

Morals have a greater social element to values and tend to have a very broad acceptance. Morals are far more about good and bad than other values. Though, in the business world we often find ourselves avoiding framing our ethical choices in moral terms for fear that doing so might prove offensive (lacking in respect or compassion) to some. Many of us find our values are strongly influenced by our sense of morality - right as defined by a higher authority. Yet we refrain from citing that authority because doing so may seem less rational and more emotional to others who do not share our belief system. So, Morals can be related to ones religion, political system or a business society. Business morals include prompt service, excellence, quality and safety.

VALUE:

Values are the rules by which we make decisions about right and wrong, should and shouldn't, good and bad. Values provide guidance as we determine the right versus the wrong, the good versus the bad. They are our standards. As such as values include honesty, integrity, compassion, courage, honor responsibility, patriotism, respect and fairness.

ETHICS:

Ethics is about our actions and decisions. When one acts in ways which are consistent with our beliefs we will characterize that as acting ethically. When one’s actions are not congruent with our values - our sense of right, good and just - we will view that as acting unethically. Defining what is ethical is not an individual exercise like right, fair and good. The ethics of our decisions and actions is defined socially, not individually. And of course we have ethical dilemmas, where the choice is not between what we believe to be right and what we believe to be wrong, but between competing rights.

MY CONCLUSION:

Values, morals, ethics are personal aspects and changes according to different situations with time and needs. One cannot define that only moral values rule out the world but ethics are also mean to it. In my view, Values are rules, Morals are how we judge others, Ethics are professional standards these three aspects are given equal importance in the present up going world.

If society is dominated by a single religious or cultural belief system, as is the case in some countries, then what is ethical and what is moral may be defined as the same thing. In societies where there is not a monolithic (ఏకశిలా) belief system there can be very wide differences in opinion in society as to whether a given action is ethical (or moral).

In business world, it is all fair and good for cause, is done for success, where for living up to the human standards these rule tend to destroy the human kinds of human nature.

As a woman I leave this question and answer for you, it’s you how you solve your life problem from cheater, sinner, etc, it’s all up to you. For a better world,  in future human life’s but I would confined one thing this world always rule with ethics or moral values.

For instance,

1. Money buys out all things in present fast going world. One side of world, If you are educated you will be benefited. Second side of the world, Rich will become richer and poor will become poorer.

 2. You look like religious but do not kill other person in the name of lord or God. Until still also, caste system/religion has not end. People are dead in the world of caste in saving their religion. You see in presence of God all human beings are equal.

3. Don’t think that everyone is happy in this world. In inner world, Some women all facing to get better education, some are facing problem with husband (cheater) like domestic violence, mental harassment etc., some women are doing jobs to protect their life’s from financial debts for survival, some are facing health problems but still they earn salary, some women are waiting for job vacancy, some are living their lives in street roads for shelters, some are facing problems to give birth for girl baby or boy baby to obey the family rules.

4. My last and least saying – don’t follow blend believe; focus on your hard work. Work for to live not for slave. So, do hard work and win of your dreams. It will be materialized and automatically success, respect, values, ethics will follow you!

5. If you wish to know how civilized culture is look at how they treat its women.

YOU MAY QUESTION ME WHY “MONEY BUYS OUT ALL THINGS IN PRESENT FAST GOING WORLD”

Here you go,

1. Who is rich!!!!!

2. The word poor is also rich not in the dictionary but in the hearts of poverty life and middle class family–people.

3. Big fish eat small fish …..Agree!!!!!!

4. Importance of money!!!!!! Greedy?

5. Touch decisions are taken in hard time –money teaches you!!!!!!

6. How this money plays in your life ask a person who is facing health problems to get treatment!!!!!

7. Greedy is greedy – rich versus poor!!!!!!

8. Intelligent v/s wise both are happy!!!!!

9. Educated do job v/s business person do job!!!!!!

10. Rich from hearts v/s rich from money!!!!!!

11. Some say its God graces v/s some say its hard work!!!!!

12. Soft hearts (tells you how to love yourself) v/s hard hearts (teach you how to win)!!!!!

13. Will power v/s self – confidence!!!!!

14. All leaders are born or made!!!! Confusion!!!!!!

15. Even leaders also had hard time but they shown it how to lead life in tough time.

16. Cheater v/s truth - FEAR (Faces Everything And Run).

17. Recognized people in outer world v/s unrecognized people in inner world.

Hence,

One always treasures (నిధి) the morals throughout his/her life and they never change with time or conditions. While on the other hand values are not set by the society or teachers, but are governed by an individual. Values do not mean that it is always right to do so.
