When you are doing the right thing for the earth, she gives you great company - Vandana Shiva Quotes (Indian environmental activist and anti-globalization author)

On 25 April 2015, we all family members went out for personal work. After returning back to home, I have been watching TV5 –Business awards 2015 and also seen a small highlights news regarding Nepal earth quake 2015 thought it was a small incident.

But the next day morning I saw local Hyderabad News Papers I was stunned. Just last year we have visited the Beautiful Nepal Country and Nepal Earth Landscape June 2014. And also I have posted it in my blog about my tour trips http://maddaliswetha.blogspot.in/2014/06/myjourney-holiday-trip-towards.html . But now it had became unforgettable memory in my life. Here is the some of my pictures taken in Nepal tour that you can see in the end of the page in this blog.

Note:

Here is the short note on Nepal -

Nepal is the world's 93rd largest country by land mass and the 41st most populous country. It is located in the Himalayas and bordered to the north by the People's Republic of China, and to the south, east, and west by the Republic of India. Nepal is separated from Bangladesh by the narrow Indian Siliguri Corridor and from Bhutan by the Indian state of Sikkim. Kathmandu is the nation's capital and largest metropolis. Nepal is a developing country with a low income economy, ranking 145th of 187 countries on the Human Development Index (HDI) in 2014. It continues to struggle with high levels of hunger and poverty. Despite these challenges, the country has been making steady progress, with the government making a commitment to graduate the nation from least developed country status by 2022.

Nepal has six universities: Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Pokhara University, Purbanchal University, Mahendra Sanskrit University, and the Agriculture and Forestry University of Nepal (AFU). Some newly proposed universities are Lumbini Bouddha University, Mid-Western University, and Far-Western University.

Here are the pictures of my tour – Nepal – “The beauty of agriculture”

DOES HYDERABAD NEED ONE LAKH CCTVs?

Introduction:

Before going to the main part of the subject let’s have look on these two words - Hyderabad and Closed-circuit television (CCTV)

Hyderabad is the capital of the southern Indian state of Telangana and de jure capital of Andhra Pradesh. Occupying 625 square kilometres (241 sq mi) along the banks of the Musi River, it has a population of about 6.8 million and a metropolitan population of about 7.75 million, making it the fourth most populous city and sixth most populous urban agglomeration in India. At an average altitude of 542 metres (1,778 ft), much of Hyderabad is situated on hilly terrain around artificial lakes, including Hussain Sagar.

Hyderabad is established in 1591 by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, Hyderabad remained under the rule of the Qutb Shahi dynasty for nearly a century before the Mughals captured the region. In 1724, Mughal viceroy Asif Jah I declared his sovereignty and created his own dynasty, known as the Nizams of Hyderabad. Hyderabad was historically known as a pearl and diamond trading centre, and it continues to be known as the City of Pearls. The name Hyderabad means Hyder's abode or lion city.

Closed-circuit television (CCTV) and its purpose:

Closed-circuit television (CCTV), also known as video surveillance, is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limited set of monitors. It differs from broadcast television in that the signal is not openly transmitted, though it may employ point to point (P2P), point to multipoint, or mesh wireless links.

The first CCTV system was installed by Siemens AG at Test Stand VII in Peenemünde, Germany in 1942, for observing the launch of V-2 rockets. In The U.S. the first commercial closed-circuit television system became available in 1949, called Vericon. In the United States and other places, CCTV may be installed in school to monitor visitors, track unacceptable student behavior and maintain a record of evidence in the event of a crime.

Closed-circuit television (CCTV) security systems and its mode:

  • CCTV Cameras
  • Access Controllers
  • Time Attendance
  • Video Door Phones
  • Burglar Alarms

Overview of Hyderabad: (My experience – Case Study)

Since I am living in Hyderabad from 1995 – My observations
Here you go,
(From Student point of view)

1994 – N. T. Rama Rao said that he will kept city safe and provide good education for students but not mentioned – need for high zone for CCTVs

1995 - N. Chandrababu Naidu said that he will make city as technology state but not mentioned – need for high zone for CCTVs

2004 - Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy said he will make value for need of farmers and good healthy living state but not mentioned – need for high zone for CCTVs

2009 - Konijeti Rosaiah said he will make effective ways of management in the flood situation and good health zones but not mentioned – need for high zone for CCTVs

2010 - Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy said he will bring introduce as many as educational institutes’ for IIT, IIM, BITS etc, but not mentioned – need for high zone for CCTVs

2014 - Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao said he will provide as many as job opportunities and also increase Employment Rate for Hyderabad. So, mentioned there is need for high zone for CCTVs

TO BE CONCLUDED:

It should be noted that Hyderabad students require proper electricity in exams time and need for good street lights, good roads, no blockage and no drainage problems in rainy season but not for high zone for CCTVs – these are basic requirements for students.

In recent times there is notification came from government that all people should buy proper digital video broadcasting such as Hathway, Tatasky, Airtel, Etc,  for television and good eye protection and good vision. Likewise, our C.M.KCR can also notify people to keep CCTV for every small and big business units in Hyderabad and it can be made compulsory.

KCR should mainly need to concentrate on teachers/ lectures/professors to be made available sufficiently for all the educational institutions.

SUGGESTION:

C.M.KCR must organize video conferences and talk directly with the students of concerned colleges and schools for 1 hour daily.
