Yoga is
a physical, mental, and spiritual practice or discipline which originated in
ancient India. There is a broad variety of Yoga schools, practices, and goals in
Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. The origins of yoga have been speculated to
date back to pre-Vedic Indian traditions; it is mentioned in the Rigveda. But in
modern days, yoga has become special and it has other beginning called International
Day of Yoga.
International Day of Yoga commonly referred to as Yoga Day,
is celebrated annually on June 21. The idea of an International Day of Yoga was
first proposed by Narendra Modi for better health and better living hood.
Now a
days, we have became busy, busy, busy day by day such using technology, bad
food timings, tensions etc, as lead to busy stressful life. In this busy life,
small changes make big changes in one’s life that call a day to raise our
stress and forget our good healthy living. So, this international day of yoga
helps us to concentrate on our health.
Don’t
think that this day is called yoga day. It is also called health day, Happy
International yoga day and happy health day too. Thank You.
